Look! I ran slow!

The scientific conclusion? I didn’t want to gouge my lungs out with a spork at the 3 mi mark. In fact, I was a little bummed when the Random-iPod-voice-woman told me my goal had been met. (I then proceeded to run another half-mile, but don’t tell the wife that.)
And, to add insult to injury, I’m not nearly as sore today as I was after my last run.
Yeah, I know, I need to keep running slow. I get it.
