I’m not a licensing expert. Don’t take this as legal advice, but as far as I understand the MPL, you are welcome to use it in a product as long as you give attribution and open-source the modified component if any changes are made. If it’s a drop-in no-change component in your application, all you have to do is add a line to your “About” box, or the equivalent.

As for my part … I’m not looking for anything, but I certainly appreciate the offer. If you must compensate me somehow, there’s a link to my Amazon wishlist buried in that pile of buttons on my home page. But, really, what I wrote is just a bit of glue.

Question: If we build a commercial work off your work could you clarify what the lisc. says… do you want us to work out a deal with you or what? I believe you ought to be rewarded for this great work in getting this into the cf community.
