A few weeks ago I put forth my jogging goals for 2009/2010. Saturday’s run gave me a nice bead on one of my long run goals: the 10:07/mi pace is a good way toward my 10:00 goal pace for the middle of this year. Shaving off those extra 7 seconds, however, will only get me down to a 2:11:00 total half marathon time. My goal for the end of 2010 is 2:00:00, which is a 9:10 pace. That’s wicked aggressive, but maybe doable. Maybe.

In other news, while I should hurt like mad after Saturday’s run, I’m only a little sore. I must be getting better at this jogging thing!
