Two sets are available: flat and pop.

Flat emoji have consistent colors across the stripes. Generally, these look better at higher resolutions and image sizes where the bands are easier to make out. They also feel a bit less cluttered, and stay true to well-known flag colors.

Pop emoji use color gradients across the bands, and some intentional misalignment in places. This can help the bands stand out when the emoji are small, but then look worse as they get bigger. Some band colors are tweaked a bit for contrast, and aren't as "authentic".

If you're using these as emoji, you probably want the pop set. For larger, more individual uses you probably want the flat set.

Download

When adding these to the emoji on your server, you may not need a prefix. All the image file names start with np- already. If you don't want this prefix, or if you want to change it, you'll need to unzip, fix, and rezip before uploading.

Why aren't these available as SVG?

Not many apps/servers accept SVG emoji at this time. To keep things simple, these are offered as high-res RGBA PNGs. When used as emoji on most devices, most people won't be able to see the banding, pixels, or artifacts.
